RAJA TUN UDA LIBRARY FOUNDATION
Background
The establishment of Yayasan Perpustakaan Raja Tun Uda (Raja Tun Uda Library Foundation) was inspired by HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj’s idea to enrich and widen the collections at Raja Tun Uda Library from donations by corporations and individuals with a particular focus on special needs visitors and readers and on Selangor’s history and heritage.
To ensure that the foundation has sufficient funds to fulfil such aims, the raising of the funds will be the main focus of the foundation. Funds raised will be deployed in accordance with plans, focusses and targets developed with the management of the library so as to ensure optimised outcomes from the funds raised and deployed.
Yayasan Perpustakaan Raja Tun Uda (Raja Tun Uda Library Foundation) has been approved by Director General of Inland Revenue Board (IRB) under the Subsection 44(6), Akta Cukai Pendapatan 1967 (ACP 1967). With this approval, all donations monetary to Yayasan Perpustakaan Raja Tun Uda (Raja Tun Uda Library Foundation) will be tax deductible.
